One 60-day cruise circling Australia is being halted days after the death of an senior lady who was stranded by the cruise liner on a distant island.

The passenger had been walking on Lizard Island with shipmates from the cruise ship, but separated from the excursion for a rest. The ship left without her and went back several hours later after the ship staff became aware the passenger was unaccounted for.
